Thomas Glenn

Tenor Thomas Glenn leaped into recent prominence through his successful portrayal of Physicist Robert Wilson in the World Premiere of John Adam’s Doctor Atomic at San Francisco Opera and has been engaged for its successive productions at Amsterdam Opera and Chicago Lyric Opera in 2007-2008. Glenn made his San Francisco Opera debut as Student in Doktor Faust and appeared with the Company as Maintop in Billy Budd and Gastone in La Traviata. He was seen in the role of Medvedenko in the Opera Center’s production of The Seagull as well as Count Almaviva in the Merola Opera Program’s production of The Barber of Seville. Most recently, he sang the role of Tamino in Mozart’s The Magic Flute with the National Arts Centre Orchestra in Ottawa, Canada. The Calgary, Canada native has performed with Central City Opera, Ohio Light Opera and Toledo Opera, among others.
