Leo Leite

Leo Leite (1977) is a Music Producer and Sound Engineer living in New York. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Leite grew up with the electronic music scene, and began his music career as a DJ in 1992 and in short time was in residency at LIMELIGHT in São Paulo (1997), which defined his future. At that same time, he co-founded Influx, a live electronic music band.
In 1999 he relocated to New York to attend the School of Audio Engineering (SAE). He kept producing and traveling to Brazil to play with Influx, releasing on several compilations as "Influx-Crack" for Amp MTV, a Live CD in 12/2000 (a show for 30000 people). In April 2001 and 2002 he was playing with Influx at SKOL BEATS Festival, sharing the stage with Groove Armada, Layo & Buchwacka, Christopher Lawrence and among others.
In 2005 he started to work with dj SASHA as an Ableton Live Editor, work which resulted on material for "Sasha - Foundation CD", his first credited work with him.
In 2006 he was invited to work full time at the studio for dj SASHA with Barry Jamieson and Charlie May to co-produce remixes and original tracks for the album " Sasha-Involver 2 " (July/2008), single records and music for motion and pictures like the CSI TV series, the "New Emissions of Light and Sound" DVD, and the SIMS Game. |
