Honoring
June Wu

June Wu's commitment to helping emerging artists launch their careers has been unwavering. Last year, a group of June's friends established The June K. M. Wu Metropolis Ensemble Artists Fund to honor June's vision and passionate dedication to Metropolis Ensemble's young performing artists. Your generous response in honoring June was nothing short of extraordinary and The June Wu Artists Fund's first year of activity provided critical underwriting for 2 major recording projects at Tanglewood and helped launch an entire new concert series for our Resident Artists and Composers!

To commemorate the successful establishment of The June Wu Artists Fund on its one year anniversary, we are holding a festive cocktail party at June's home to celebrate her inspiring leadership. We hope you can join us for cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and special performances throughout.

RSVP online or email your RSVP to Stephanie Amarnick.

Please also consider renewing your commitment to the June Wu fund by making a tax deductible contribution online now in honor of June and the work she so strongly champions. Checks can be addressed to: Metropolis Ensemble,139 Jackson Street, Ste 2A, Brooklyn, NY 11211.

For all questions and inquiries, please contact Stephanie Amarnick.

The Wu Fund at Work

Over the past year, the June Wu Artists Fund has supported the successful launch of Metropolis Ensemble's new Resident Artist Series and studio recordings at Tanglewood with NAXOS and Nonesuch Records. And in the next season, the Wu Artists Fund will help Metropolis Ensemble on several exciting new projects: creating its own record label, launching two new albums and two supportive concerts, expanding the Resident Artist Series into a second year, and enhancing the presence of artists on the Metropolis website.
