Isaac Levien

Isaac Levien is a bassist, composer, and educator based in Brooklyn, New York. With his fluency and carefully crafted tone on the bass, along with an unquenchable curiosity towards learning new music, Isaac thrives in diverse musical contexts. Isaac performs regularly in an eclectic assortment of projects in and around NYC and has shared the stage with esteemed artists across genres and generations. Isaac is co-leader and bassist of the jazz collective Altus and is currently planning for the release of their third album, Imagined Futures.
