About the Album

Released August 16, 2024 on Cosm Media
Available in Stereo and Spatial Audio

Composer and new media artist Ricardo Romaneiro released LIQUIDVERSE: Microcosm and Macrocosm in collaboration with producers Silas Brown and Andrew Cyr, performed by 118 artists from Metropolis Ensemble (Andrew Cyr, conductor) and The Crossing (Donald Nally, Conductor).

The work was created for Cosm, the leading experiential media and immersive technology company, for their new Los Angeles venue: the world’s first 87-foot diameter 12K LED dome and unique spatial audio system. Part of the Cosm Studios Creator Program, LIQUIDVERSE is an immersive audiovisual symphonic experience that guides audience participants through a multi-sensory journey into, and beyond, the beginning of the universe.

Romaneiro stated: “In LIQUIDVERSE, you can delve into the profound interconnectedness of scale from the microscopic to the cosmic. The visual experience was intricately crafted using liquid oils and chemical reactions captured on a petri dish by Liquid Light Lab and come to life, unveiling the hidden beauty and complexity of the universe and beyond.”
