In March 2020, with the support of Early Music America and the Metropolis Ensemble, Alkemie launches “Alkemie & Friends” – a series of informal, musically experimental, and multi-sensory concerts. These concerts are designed to take advantage of the sonic possibilities that emerge amidst collaborators in adjacent musical fields.

"Blood, Booze, and Betrayal" presents some of the more lurid stories of the English-speaking Atlantic from medieval times to the present, featuring murder ballads from early American and England, medieval and folk tunes, and newly-composed songs by Paul Morton, all played and sung on early and folk instruments.
