Composer Elliot Cole will celebrate the release of his first solo album, Nightflower, in an intimate and unconventional gathering. Pillows, blankets and mats will turn a yoga studio into a listening palace, featuring a spin through the album with live projections by Ross Karre. There will also be a live performance by Katie Hyun (violin) and Nightflower artists Jordan Dodson (guitar) and Gabriel Cabezas (cello) previewing music from Cole’s next release.
You are invited to wear comfortable clothes, and bring your own pillow or blanket if you desire. (Note that there will be few chairs available). Cocktails will be available.
Nightflower is an album of psychedelic chamber music conceived in code and brought to life by stellar performers Jordan Dodson (guitar), Gabriel Cabezas (cello), Stanislav Chernyshev (clarinet), Andrea Violet Lodge (piano), Conor Hanick (piano), and Jake Harpster and Matt Penland (percussion).
