The Light Princess is an enchanted tale about a princess who feels no gravity.

Through love, loss and courage, she comes down to earth.

Bringing the virtuosity of physical theater actors and classical musicians to children (aged 4-7) and their parents in a living-room setting, this new 35-minute production features a trio of movement artists who animate the story with live action and song, accompanied by newly composed music for guitar and cello throughout.

The Light Princess, a 19th Century novella by Scotsman George MacDonald, a storyteller who later inspired authors such as C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien to create a new wave of children’s literature.
