Emily Brandenburg
Living in New York City, Emily Brandenburg is an educator, chamber musician and freelancer in the New England area. She has performed with ensembles such as The St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, Albany Symphony, Princeton Symphony, Portland Symphony, Metropolis Ensemble and the Frisson Chamber Ensemble. Previously, Emily was an artist in residence at the University of Evansville, Principal Viola of the Evansville Philharmonic, and violist of the Eykamp String Quartet.
In her chamber music endeavors she has studied with quartets such as the Emerson, Brentano, Miro, Ehnes, and Dover Quartets. During her summers, she has participated at many summer festivals including, Yellow Barn, Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, Bowdoin International Music Festival, Rome Chamber Music Festival, Amelia Island chamber music festival and many more.
Emily holds a Master of Musical Arts degree from Yale University, a Master of Music degree from New England Conservatory and a Bachelor of Music degree from the McDuffie Center for Strings.
