Milena Casado is a composer, flugelhorn and trumpet player from Spain. She has performed with acclaimed artists such as Terri Lyne Carrington, Kris Davis, Jorge Rossy, Kenny Werner, Bill McHenry or Francisco Mela, among others.
During the course of her career, apart from performing and recording with renowned artists at venues and festivals such as The Blue Note, The Jazz Gallery, Monterey Jazz Festival, Washington DC Jazz Festival, Toronto Jazz Festival or Marciac Jazz Festival, she has been focusing on composing her own music and performing it in different settings, which include trio, quartet, sextet and nonet. She graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2020, where she studied with Nicholas Payton, Terri Lyne Carrington, Danilo Perez and Joe Lovano among others.
