Metropolis Radio
Live From Carthage
I thought I'd formulate a playlist around the artists and inspiration behind the release of my digital single "Dido's Lament (Revisited)" - currently being offered for free download via a partnership between Metropolis and New Amsterdam. Carthage, Dido's hometown, serves here as a kind of imaginary reference point. The featured vocalists Holland Andrews (Like a Villian) and Jenn Wasner (Wye Oak, Flock of Dimes, Bon Iver) make appearances alongside Immanuel Wilkins and Paul Wiancko from the ensemble. Their work is interwoven with synth-heavy jams by Kate Bush, SOPHIE, and others that influenced the song's composition.
