About the Concert

Metropolis Ensemble and Artistic Director Andrew Cyr present the World Premiere performance of ETUDES for Piano by Ryan Francis (b. 1981). Presented in tandem with etudes from György Sándor Ligeti (1923-2006), William Bolcom (b. 1938), Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849), and Franz Liszt (1811-1886); and surrounded by an inspiring contemporary art exhibition. This special concert is a preview of Francis' Piano Concerto, premiering at the Metropolis Ensemble spring concert, Loop.
