Constellation Chor is a vocal performance collective founded and directed by Marisa Michelson. Its intention at inception, and still to this day, was to create a space for humans to sing virtuosically together while also prioritizing deep embodied experience and movement. At age 10, Gelin taught himself to play the trumpet simply by emulating his favorite records. After years of self-tutelage, Adrian D’Aguilar, bass player, began to mentor him; thereby, providing him the tools to play jazz. In 2017, the Nassau-born trumpeter would study with Dr. Eddie Henderson at the Oberlin Conservatory. The same year, he received recognition at the Young Arts Foundation and Betty Carter Jazz Ahead Program. Thereafter, he continued his studies at the Juilliard School --- graduated June 2021.

Phong Tran is a Brooklyn-based composer, electronicist, and visual artist. Fengwan Chen currently studies at The Juilliard School under the guidance of Joseph Lin. Fengwan has worked with Lewis Kaplan, Boris Kuschnir, Regis Pasquier, Midori Goto, Mayuko Kamio, and Ning Feng, among others. As an avid musician, she won the fellowships of Aspen Music Festival, Tanglewood Music Center, and the Music Academy of the West.
